Italian-made cuckoo clock, in metallic lacquered MDF, designed by Ewald Winkelbauer. The clock is in the form of an apartment block, its style hinting at a location in Hong Kong. The clock is in white metallic MDF with silver coloured windows, one of which forms the house for the cuckoo. Another window forms the location for the orange hands. The clock is finished off with an artificial grass roof, which finished off this unusual clock very nicely!
Runs on 3 x LR14 batteries (not included).
The clock strikes each hour with the call of a cuckoo, an echo, and the sounds of a forest and brook in the background; the sound can be turned off and has two volume settings (using the little switch in the lower section of the clock). At night, as soon as the room is darkened, a sensor automatically switches the sounds off, to ensure you do not get disturbed.
